After a great 2008, I am excited to see what 2009 will bring. Major Mary and I devised our yearly goal list. Some of my items include our yearly adventure trip (this time to the Grand Canyon), 1400 total running miles, at least one 100 mile bike ride, a stage race, and white water rafting. I will be heading to California to see the Redwoods which should be larger than life! I've always wanted to stand next to one of those, and it should be an awesome trip! I will also continue working on the PhD.

Hopefully the weather will cooperate this year for the LBL Trail Runs so that I can actually make it to the 60K.

I have a blog with most of my adventures as it gives me a chance to look back as well as share my year with friends. I am blessed to know so many great people. It isn't where you are but rather who surrounds you that really makes all the difference...
